Stereo movie is just easy to be created with Maya settings in "Maya 2008". Don't be scared by the title, just double up the render time and you will get your STEREO MOVIE! Let's challenge it!!

"ANIWOW" is an Animation Festival happening in Beijing from 22nd till 25th October, 2008.

If you are interested, please watch the deadline as it is just around the corner: 7th October 2008! What makes it easy and fast is that the submission is through FTP (less than 50MB).

Please take a look at the lists of nominations for both Perdana and Cipta awards listed in this website. You can also download the registration form there (IMPORTANT: read through the form, make sure no particulars are left empty).

Submission:
- Anugerah Perdana: to be submitted in writing format (proposal).
- Anugerah Cipta: to be submitted in CD/DVD, TWO copies (submit videos in several formats just in case - This is important).

Deadlines:
- Anugerah Perdana: 8th October 08 (Wednesday). Might be extended, but not likely. So hurry!
- Anugerah Cipta: 1st November 08 (Saturday).

Please take note of the deadlines! Interested, submit your writings/CD/DVD ALONG WITH THE COMPLETED FORM to Mr Azman (R2029) or Ms Nadia (R1033) or Ms Nikki (R1056). We'll do the postings for you :). Slip it under our doors if we're not there (It's exam week so we might be off invigilating).

Oh, the best part is, you can submit as many as you want.
I was informed by the hosts, as long as you're student studying in Malaysia, you can enter! (international students are welcome to enter this).

51 Years!

51 years... of Malaysian independence, how much has changed!

I know cliched right?

So much to complain about my home country, where it's over 51 years and yet some things never changed. Or things have just taken a different form. Transportation, education, ethics, government, people in general, and so on.

However, I would still be thankful about this country that has bless with a stable home for us to stay, some decent places to go around, some great food to enjoy and some development is under way to make this better.

So yea, happy Merdeka Day everyone!
