IU Day : PAINFACE exhibition

well hello again everyone~
i've just finished my exhibition at the SMK USJ4, Subang Jaya~
so yeahhh i hope u guys enjoy my new art-vorks~ :P

the main concept is the combination of 3 tshirts~
where i did line art from the 1st shirt untill the 3rd shirt.
the designs are combined~ :D
the 1st tshirt, title is : 'origin', the 2nd : 'hello! im PAINFACE!', 3rd : 'type "myself", click "search".

so that's about it for today's post!
it's kinda messy and looks amateur~ but yeah i'll learn some more. :D

Yaaaaaay another crit is over! We really should slack for awhile! Just gotten this interesting event's info from Mr. Azman which I think we all should go for it (as we are the very artistic people)! It is another event organized by The Annexe Gallery featuring 40 stalls by some known and not-yet-known artists selling their paintings, drawings, photos, self-designed T-shirts, hand-made accessories, hand-sewn dolls, sculptures, music, movies + artistic services! Besides that, there will be a Workshops on Tap-Dancing + Modern Jazz Dance or Chill Out with Cupcakes + Coffee in the Loft ( *blink blink blink* )! :D So everybody mark the date now!

Talks / Presentations this week

Wawaweewa.. busy week. Just to update you on what's going on this week:

Tuesday (April 15th)
- Presentation/talk by the Lucasfilm people in the E-Theatre at 11am. They'll be talking about their apprenticeship program in Singapore.

Wednesday (April 16th)
- Presentation/talk by reps from CG Overdrive (FA Studio, 10am).

On Wednesday, they'll be using the studio in the morning, so the project discussions are gonna be in the afternoon. (*CA people, wanna see all of you in my office on that day).


* those of you who are not going to be around that afternoon for whatever reason (Lucasfilm talk/intern briefing/job interview/whatever), let us know earlier.

Biljana Ciric
is an independent curator based in Shanghai and holds the position Artistic Director of Ke Center of Contemporary Arts as well as being the executive curator for the Intrude Public art project presented by Zendai MoMA. She was the director of the Curatorial Department at the Shanghai Duolun Museum of Modern Art and the China networking curator for the 2006 Singapore Biennale. Her ambitious ongoing project Migration Addicts was presented at the 52nd Venice Biennale.

Ciric will speak about her past curatorial projects and ongoing projects such as the 'Intrude366' project at Zendai MOMA and the upcoming Yoko Ono show in Shanghai.

Expanding Sound Design: Japan + Malaysia


Film X Sound is about seeing the sounds in film. Japanese film sound designer YASUHIRO MORINAGA + Malaysian composer HARDESH SINGH (Gubra, Lelaki Komunis Terakhir, etc) will give insight into film sound design and experimentation when merging sight and sound. After the discussion, a special live performance by both artists will be held showcasing their own personal aural sensibilities.
